# Where do you change your uniform in Star Trek Online?

Change your uniform or character appearance at a **Tailor**. Talk to a Tailor, select your Captain or Bridge Officer, choose **Modify**, make the changes, then save or purchase the outfit.

## How to change your uniform

1. Visit a Tailor.
2. Select your Captain or Bridge Officer.
3. Choose the outfit slot and select **Modify**.
4. Make your uniform or appearance changes.
5. Save or purchase the finished outfit.

If your Captain already has multiple created outfits, right-click the Captain portrait on a ground map and choose **Change Outfit** to switch between them.
