# Star Trek Online Fleet Ships & Fleet Ship Modules: Cost, Sources and Discounts

Fleet Ship Modules are vouchers used with Fleet Credits and a Fleet Ship provision to buy certain Fleet Ships.

For most Tier 6 Fleet Ships, the standard cost is **20,000 Fleet Credits + 5 Fleet Ship Modules + 1 Fleet Ship provision**. If your account owns the eligible matching Zen Store ship, the module cost is normally reduced from **5 to 1**; the Fleet Credits and provision still apply.

## Where do you get Fleet Ship Modules?

- **Zen Store:** **500 Zen each**, or **5 for 2,000 Zen**.
- **Tier VI Reputations:** each reputation offers a one-time **100-mark** project for **1 character-bound Fleet Ship Module** per character. With 13 current reputations, that is up to **13 modules per character**.
- **Exchange:** unbound Fleet Ship Modules can be bought from other players for Energy Credits. They can also be traded or mailed. Reputation modules are character-bound.
- **Fleet Support Duty Officer Pack:** one possible bonus item is **a set of 4 Fleet Ship Modules**. This is random, not guaranteed.
- **Official promotions/bundles:** Fleet Ship Modules are occasionally included in temporary official offers.

Normal Zen prices can temporarily change during sales.

## How does the 5-to-1 Fleet Ship Module discount work?

The discount applies when your account owns the eligible matching Zen Store ship at the same tier and that ship has an associated Fleet version. Some premium ships are already fleet-grade and do not have a separate Fleet version.

## What does a Tier 6 Fleet version usually change?

Compared with the corresponding standard T6 version, a Fleet T6 ship typically has **+10% Hull HP, +10% Shield HP and one additional console slot**. The Fleet version generally does **not** include the Zen Store ship's special console and does **not** provide its Tier V mastery Starship Trait.

If you want the Zen Store ship's console or Starship Trait as well as the Fleet version, owning the Zen ship first can provide those unlocks and reduce the Fleet Ship Module cost from 5 to 1.
