# How do you transfer Refined Dilithium between characters in Star Trek Online?

Use the Dilithium Exchange to transfer refined Dilithium between characters on the same account. Create a Buy Zen offer below the highest buying price, cancel it immediately, then withdraw the Dilithium on another character.

## Transfer refined Dilithium

1. **Open the Exchange.** On the character holding the Dilithium, open **Inventory → Assets → Dilithium Exchange**.
2. **Check the price.** Select **Sell Zen** and note the highest buying offer.
3. **Enter the transfer.** Switch to **Buy Zen**. Set **Dilithium per Zen** to **10 below** that offer, then enter the amount you want to transfer under **Total Dilithium to sell**.
4. **Submit and cancel.** Submit the offer, select it under **Outstanding Offers** and cancel it immediately. The unfilled Dilithium returns to the shared **Exchange Balance**.
5. **Withdraw.** Log into the receiving character, open the Exchange and withdraw the Dilithium from **Exchange Balance**.

## Example and offer limit

The video shows a highest buying offer of **500 Dilithium per Zen** and uses **490** for the transfer. Each offer is limited to **5,000 Zen**, allowing up to **2,450,000 refined Dilithium** at that example price. Check the current buying price rather than treating 490 as a fixed rate.

**Important:** Don’t leave the offer active, or it could buy Zen instead of returning all the Dilithium.
