# Star Trek Online Server Status Tool

Check the STO services needed to patch and log in.

Live checks refresh automatically every five minutes while the page is visible.

## STO Server Status

The live tool checks:

- Patch server / launcher connection
- Patch-download service
- Account / login service
- Connection-routing DNS
- Steam-only current player activity as supporting context

**Status rule:** all three core patch/login checks responding = Online; one core failure = Issues Detected; two or more core failures = Offline. Checker failures are shown as unavailable rather than as an STO outage.

**Scope:** direct checks cover the PC/Holodeck patch and login path. Console, regional-routing and individual map issues can differ.
