What are the Star Trek Online system requirements?

The current official PC requirements are checked automatically from Arc Games and cross-checked against the Epic Games Store, so the specification card can update without a manual page rewrite.

Current Star Trek Online system requirements

Arc Games is the primary source. Epic is used as an independent official-store cross-check for the core fields it publishes.

What the tiers mean

Minimum or recommended?

Treat the published requirements as compatibility baselines, not a promise of a particular frame rate in every map or combat situation.

Minimum

The official baseline for running STO.

Meeting the minimum specification means your PC satisfies the publisher’s stated floor. Actual performance still depends on resolution, graphics settings, drivers, background load and the scene being rendered.

Recommended

The better target for a new or returning player.

If your hardware meets or exceeds the recommended specification, it is the more sensible reference point. The official list is still a compatibility guide rather than a benchmark result.

Low-churn source handling

How does this page stay current?

The requirements card is deliberately separate from the editorial text so routine publisher specification changes do not require a new page deployment.

Arc Games first

The Worker reads the official Arc Games STO requirements and treats Arc as the primary source.

Epic cross-check

Epic’s official STO listing is checked against the core OS, CPU, memory, GPU and storage fields where available.

24-hour shared cache

Checks run on demand and are shared for 24 hours. If a refresh fails, the last verified snapshot can be shown rather than inventing new values.
