Current cookie use
-PTF- Armada does not intentionally set analytics, advertising or marketing cookies on its public pages. The site currently has no general cookie-consent banner because it does not intentionally use tracking or other non-essential storage technologies automatically. Where an optional browser preference can persist, the choice is made in the relevant tool itself.
Browser storage
Public pages do not intentionally store visitor tracking or marketing data in localStorage or sessionStorage. Defender keeps the accepted leaderboard name and, when necessary, a completed score submission awaiting retry only in page memory. Defender does not store leaderboard names, unsent score evidence or score history in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage; reloading or closing the game page clears that RAM-only state.
Fleet Hierarchy processes its CSV locally and does not store a rank-order preference by default. If you select Remember rank order on this device, the tool stores that fleet's chosen rank order in localStorage so the same browser can restore it after you explicitly enable remembering again. The preference is not sent to -PTF-. Saved hierarchy orders have no fixed expiry and remain on that device until you use Clear saved hierarchy orders or clear the site's browser storage. Turning remembering off withdraws that choice and immediately clears saved Fleet Hierarchy rank orders from this site’s localStorage. The separate Clear saved hierarchy orders control provides the same removal without first enabling remembering.
The authorised Admin workflow uses browser storage for temporary signed-in and UI state, unsaved draft or retry data, and a locally selected CSV folder handle in browser IndexedDB so the admin can reconnect to that local folder. Firebase authentication is configured for browser-session persistence for authorised sign-in. Session authentication/UI state ends with the relevant browser session or sign-out. Admin localStorage drafts/retry state and an IndexedDB folder handle can persist between sessions until the workflow clears them or the administrator clears site data; the stored folder handle remains on that device and is not uploaded to -PTF- as a tracking identifier. This storage is functional or administrative, not advertising or behavioural tracking.
Essential infrastructure
Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security or network mechanisms in some circumstances to protect and deliver the site. The Fleet Invite page loads Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-abuse protection; the challenge is configured to execute when you choose Verify Human. Turnstile processes browser/network security signals and may use the storage/access mechanisms Cloudflare requires for that security function. It is not used by -PTF- for advertising or behavioural profiling. Turnstile tokens are short-lived and are validated server-side before an invite request can be accepted.
Third-party services and destinations
The Home and About pages automatically make credentialless requests to Discord for approximate member or presence counts. The Home, About and Fleets public Fleet data is served through same-origin -PTF- Worker responses, normally from published Cloudflare R2 snapshots generated from the canonical Cloudflare D1 Fleet directory; D1 remains authoritative. The Activity and Resources public data is likewise served from same-origin published R2 snapshots of canonical D1 data. These same-origin public data requests do not require visitor cookies or browser storage.
The Player Count and System Requirements Answers pages call same-origin -PTF- Worker endpoints. The Server Status tool and Answer read a dedicated public Cloudflare R2 snapshot from status-data.ptfarmada.com; that -PTF- status-data request does not require cookies or local storage. The browser does not contact Valve/Steam, Cryptic, Arc Games or Epic directly for these checks: the upstream status checks run on a five-minute schedule in Cloudflare, while the other live checks are performed server-side when their -PTF- endpoints are requested. The Discord browser requests are not advertising or behavioural tracking and do not send ptfarmada.com browser credentials, but Discord receives ordinary connection metadata needed to answer them. Links to Discord, YouTube, Twitch, Reddit, X, Facebook, Steam and other external services also leave ptfarmada.com; those services may set their own cookies or storage technologies after you visit them, under their own policies.
Your storage choices
Fleet Hierarchy's persistent rank-order preference is off by default and is controlled directly in that tool. Browser controls can also be used to remove site data. Clearing browser/site data may remove saved hierarchy preferences, Admin-only local drafts, remembered local-folder permissions or authentication state on that device.
If this changes
If -PTF- Armada adds non-essential tracking, analytics, advertising technology or another storage/access technology that requires consent in future, this notice will be updated and an appropriate consent control will be added before that technology is used.
